Mountain Living magazine featured this Durango, Colorado guest home in their March/April 2016 edition. Designed to look like a discovered ancient dwelling, the home features crumbling stone towers and massive timbers.Following the natural slope of the terrain, the structure is divided into three levels from the highest at the entrance, dropping down to the main living space and, finally, the lowest level reserved for a private study, bedroom, sauna and bath. Also hidden from view, yet equally delightful, especially to anglers is that but a few steps away lies a magnificent view of and a private trail down to the gold medal trout laden waters of the Animas River.
